2. Enter the total sale amount on your payment terminal

4. Invite your customer to enter their PIN

5. Print the receipt or send it via SMS or email

After payments, expect only one business day to receive the funds in your Qonto business account.

Additionally, our payment terminal complies with PCI PTS v6, the industry's strictest standard, which secures you against fraud and certifies the device and software's inviolability. Any hacking attempt immediately locks the reader.

To extend the life of your mobile TPE:

1. Keep the reader in a cool, dry place, ideally at 22°C;

2. Clean the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth;

3. Never spray liquid directly onto your mobile payment terminal;

4. Avoid exposing openings to a moist environment;

5. Do not use any solvents;

6. Ensure nothing enters the reader through an opening, especially the slot for bank cards;

7. Handle the TPE with care and avoid any shocks.

Input method

Communication with the bank

1. ADSL Internet connection, connect your payment terminal to your Internet box using an Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi. This connection method is unsuitable for transactions outside your establishment;

2. 3G, 4G, or 5G connection, your payment terminal connects directly to the network using a SIM card or through your smartphone via a dedicated app. This technology is by far the most suitable for conducting transactions or payments anywhere in France. It's no coincidence that it's the preferred choice for most mobile TPEs offered by Qonto and fintechs like Zettle, SumUp, Yavin, myPOS, or Smile & Pay;

3. Traditional phone line, opt for this solution only if you have no Internet access or poor network coverage.
