Until then, your business is considered “in formation.” Once the registration is finalized, your company is officially incorporated. The time it takes for this registration depends on the local authorities and can vary by region.

If you have an eID, you can conveniently conduct your notary appointment online via a video call. Alternatively, it can be done in person. English translation for your notary appointment is also available.

At the moment, most notary appointments are conducted in German. English-speaking founders may experience longer waiting times, may need to travel further for in-person appointments, and could incur additional costs at the notary and for our service. We are already working on a solution to make the process easier and faster for English-speaking clients in the near future.
