When will e-invoicing become mandatory?

Step 1
Starting January 2025
All B2B companies must be able to receive and process e-invoices for domestic taxable transactions through e-invoicing software.
Step 2
From January 2027
All companies with an annual turnover exceeding €800,000 must be able to receive, process, and send e-invoices.
Step 3
Starting January 2028
All companies must be able to receive, process, send, and archive documents for domestic B2B transactions via an e-invoicing solution.
